For some reason whenever I play Megaman Legends on Windows XP the sound messes up during the cut scenes ,and some of the music. Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you! ;D

Are you running it from a CD or did you just download it online? Online downloaded PC games don't always run the sound correctly.
Anyways, I'd suggest playing the game on an actual Playstation. Then you won't have any problems, and you'll be using the perfect controller for the game.

If'n you downloaded the PC version it may've had audio stripped to save space. People do that sometimes, though these days I haven't the slightest idea why. (we have bigger harddrives and faster internets; is not helping anybody any more)
If you own the PC Version, your disc may be scratched and you ought to look into "pirating it." (is gray area) Also, my personal suggestion is to just do the Full Install so you don't need to play off the disc. That way you can store the disc away safely, and the game runs just a bit smoother anyway.
If you're running the PSX version on an emulator, try one or both of these: 1) rip the disc to an ISO image (or whichever format you prefer) and run that in the emulator, 2) mess around with the plugin settings 'til you find something that works (assuming you're using ePSXe; I don't know nothing about any other PSX emulator). Of course, the PC issues are possibilities for the PSX version too, I suppose.
I've mainly played the PC version, but I can't recall ever having the problems you're describing. Could you explain it a bit better?

Thanks for replying! I did a full install from the disk ,and most of the music works ,but for some reason the voices in the cut scenes will skip or be sped up. This happens especially during the T.V. show games. I guess I could try an emulator.

If you wanna go for an emulator, and your PC is capable enough, use ePSXe (sp?) and search for its best video plugins, you'd be happy how good the PSX games are made to look, I've played RE3 on an emulator, and the graphics are so much better.

You could also run a rom of Megaman 64; the sound will work fine, but the problem will be replaced with graphical glitches (white lines) on the ground. But it's a smaller file size than a playstation ISO, if that's any help. I've never had the patience to download ISOs, which is why I STILL don't have Misadventures Of Tronne Bonne.

Even if you had the MoTB ISO you wouldn't be able to play it on an emulator, it has an known bug that makes the game freeze on cuscenes on most emulators, and with the right plugin, you can play until you reach your first battle with glyde.
The only option would be to burn the ISO on a CD and play it on a Plasystation, but this is illegal unless you have a bought copy, so you're better buying it from ebay or something.

Actually I think it's just me or the game loads faster when I played it on the emu. When I played it on a PSOne (note, small model), it takes a while for the menu to load when I press start (and I just bought the game at that time). Yes, MoTB doesn't work well with some settings. For those with no graphics card (like me), I've found this combination to work: ePSXe 1.7.0 P.E.Op.S 1.18 video plugin (shame it still doesn't replicate Saga Frontier 2 or Tactics Ogre perfectly) Eternal 1.41 SPU plugin I understand if other members were not able to read this, but there's the fix right there. I was also having the same problems before I used these plug-ins and as seen with P.E.Op.S, I am emulating the game on a very ancient machine (Intel Celeron with 256 MB RAM, 16 MB video). In regards to the poster's problem, the problem is that on cutscenes, the video and sound are completely on-sync, then the audio will start to get off-sync with the characters dialogue (speech starts before the character moves his/her lips). The surprising thing is, I don't notice any visual lag that may make the whole thing go out of sync. And I have not found a fix for it and simply skip through the cutscenes.

Does it work for Valkyria's Profile? Because it gets stuck as well.

Quick message. The problems I have had with MoTB are actually graphical at most. There's visual lag, "tearing", and freezes (I didn't have enough patience to reach Glyde to see if it would continue from there).
I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt to try. But if you're using not using a plug-in based emulator (like pSX), you'll have to hope the next version corrects the incompatibility.
