Now I know they said we need more people at the Devroom to help bring along MML3. Well I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread that is used to help keep track & organize the various sites/fourms we go to. Preventing us from bombarding places & turning people away. I'll begin: No Mutants Allowed (Fallout) The House of Lords (Arcanum of Steamworks & Magick Obscura) GamespotMinecraftforum.netFLCL WorldSo I hope this can help us in our crusade to bring Legends 3 into reality.

I occasionally see it being advertised on journals on DeviantArt.
I wasn't one of them to post a journal about it, perhaps I should...

Anything you can think of, do it and tell us. It could spark more ideas and we could get this game gold in no time. ;D

If you work at a real game retailer, try asking if you'd be allowed to put a poster in the window. Or even if you don't work at one, it couldn't hurt to ask.

Where do you find these places? O__O
Anyway, perhaps nostalgia will help give those members the motivation to at least check out the site and hopefully register. OR be unwelcome and shot down. Depends on who the heck they are.

I might be able to help you a bit. I can put something like over at another place I hang out, most of the members go to Unity. I'll see if I can ask them to give us a hand.

It already has been started, only with more of a "how many people have you referred" and "what kind of marketing ideas have you got" slant to it. Oh, and I made this too. You could probably print them and hand a bunch out at cons.

UNCLE TIESEL WANTS YOU!!!
That posters funny and awesome at the same time!
I'll need to discuss this with the administrator of the place I had in mind, since this would be something.. unusual.

I feel tempted to print those out for the con I'm going to this May... Except MM fans are a bit of a rarity in this city of mine... I had only ever seen one MM cosplayer (I think my friend spotted another one) at the con we went to last year.
My city sucks.

;D Thanks!
Right now I think they just need bodies. If cons are anything like gaming forums, about 70% of these guys probably want to go into game design for a living...might be a good idea to pander to that side of the bargain than the Mega Man side. If the devs have shown anything, it's the behind-the-scenes tidbits in the Heroine Reports. Someone who isn't already in the gaming industry (or a similar one), but wants to break into it might want to check it out.

The con in my city is more anime and manga-oriented though.

I have been spreading the word to some of my friends, a few of which to my surprise actually already knew about MML. : o I've also posted about the Devroom on Starmen.net, and plan to try a few other locations soon. Dashe: XD Dashe, that is one of the best images I've seen on this board in a while. Like, seriously, that needs to be a real poster.

If you're going to seek out places to spread the word to, make sure you build a rep before making an ad post. :24: As an administrator, I'd find it really annoying if someone popped up once, posted an ad for something (even if it were gaming-related), and never posted again.
Heck, it's happened here, and yes, I have been annoyed about it. Plus, the people's threads got no hits from us that way. Forums are about community first. So if you do spread the word to other sites you don't frequent, for all it's worth, assimilate yourself into their community somewhat before posting your ad. And then come back every so often, check up on it, and post more stuff elsewhere. If you're just there for advertising, people can tell. :-\
