Well, I got bored, so I decided to make some customized smilies using the already existing MMLS ones as a base. A couple of these I've used in a post here or there, but the majority of these have never seen the light of day. Feel free to use these (provided you don't spam them or anything) in your posts as you would regular smilies!
Feeling Blue Laughing Love Ninja Shocked Sick Spidey Venom Cyclops Lolwut Smug
Also, if you're feeling creative you can add your own custom creations to this thread as well. Experiment!

You know, i'm a bit disappointed with the station's dwellers at the moment. It seems that the only thing they reply for in art threads lately is to be general pricks at some newb's art and to counter said pricks. People here act like they were angels and well behaved nimrods but they're all for the drama, dang trolls. Anyway, i'll contribute to you thread even when you never comment in mine. I don't have too much time or imagination right now, but here. Statics: D: Tard Tard2 :DDDDDD And two animated: O_O o_°

Hmm, did you get the original artist to sign off on these? I have seen many fusses in MM communities caused when a forum or forum user helped himself to smilies and the artist who made them chased him down.
So, who made these? And does he approve of this use as custom smilies?
I'll do some searches on the boards, I seem to recall something about these servbot avatars being mentioned once before...

You can't really make a fuss over making anew the base of the head of a servbot in pixel art, an already registered character, is not like you'd be able to make them different from the original base design since that's just how they're shaped, it's not your fault if they have any similarities to other artist's portrayal on a fan character in an already limiting medium like pixel art, specially when nobody is claiming anything as their own, i quote BC: "I decided to make some customized smilies using the already existing MMLS ones as a base.". I believe thant even changing and/or improving shading or adding details on the servbot's top wouldn't have made your post flinch even a little anyway, why not enjoy the innovation instead? Seriously, it has been ages since i saw a "wow this is a good idea for a thread" or "ooh nice idea, good job", lately all people do is be all serious and "Ehh", and i'm aware of the hypocrisy in this statement.

I've seen worse. Heard of the great mettool smilie scandal?
I just want to make sure the artist is ok with some new people toying with it, tis all. Surely he/she wouldn't have a problem with it, but you never know. I'm sure a long term MMLS staffer can answer this question.

And does he approve of this use as custom smilies? To answer your question, fab made them. I could see your point if I actually did something like take credit or something, but in a case of simple editing for cases of forum use there really wouldn't be much of a problem.

Nice smilies BTW, the first one's my personal favorite!

Wow, these are really imaginative! Cannon, you made really great use of colour. Mir@k's animated ones are my favourite, though. Amazing job, they look perfect!

Nice. I remember using one of Green's smilies in a post once. Can't remember where, but it was a pirate one modified from the 8-) smiley ( which for some reason isn't showing up in my preview post). I'll see if I can find it, or maybe ask Green where he keeps it. You know, i'm a bit disappointed with the station's dwellers at the moment. It seems that the only thing they reply for in art threads lately is to be general pricks at some newb's art and to counter said pricks. People here act like they were angels and well behaved nimrods but they're all for the drama, dang trolls. I'm somewhat guilty of this. Anytime I respond in someone's art thread it seems like my comments/critique/whathaveyou go completely ignored though, so naturally I just don't do it as often. ( I was actually gonna ask you about that contest a few days ago, but it slipped my mind. ) The emote is my fave. Lefty's tryin' to make a getaway, but it just ain't happening.

These are great! I love these. Expansions on a base piece just goes to show how great the originals were. I like the laughing, lolwut, shocked, D: , pirate and XP ones. A few of the Marvel character ones are great too, but the 'feel' of Servbot emotes becomes a bit mitigated in those.
(Snow) Mir@k's animated, twitchy one reminds me of the Emoglobins from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
