That's your first model? Very nice job!
I assume you're using weight painting for your bones? You might have the Envelopes button pressed on the armature settings. Try turning that off and see if the problem goes away.

I'm really glad you joined! You've done a very good job, especially considering its your first full model. I don't use weight painting for my low polygon stuff. It creates weird tearing problems. Instead, use vertex groups, and don't assign them to bones by parenting (remove the parent assignments alt+p). Instead, use the armature modifier on your model, and apply vertex groups. Like TV said, remove envelopes (it's normally checked). Also, if you want to continue working on the model, your textures seem off on the wings, but it's not really a big deal.

Great, I'd love to see some new pics. They call it swine flu in usa. There are 150 cases in the whole country, not enough to take kids out of school.

Gatz is great, and I find it amazing that that's your first model!
By the way, I think it'd be great if you could create a Sharukurusu! Just remember to reference back to something when you need to or you're having trouble with anything.
(off topic: 200th post! Yay! ;D)

An important note you should keep in mind for every model you do, try to keep the number of polygons relative to each other in your model. For instance, Gatz has a ps1-era blocky feel to him (no offence, I like it) and his body might have like 24 polygons, but his one eye alone has like 20 polygons. Just try to keep the blender model's parts proportional.

The models look great! The textures are good too. The shiny materials look really bad. You need to adjust the specular. The cell shading is good though. My favorite renders you posted are the cel shaded ones.

Could you take better pictures? For some reason these ones are "fuzzy" and it's altering my view on the models themselves.

Wow! Nice, dude! I can't believe these are your first models! I feel very insignificant now. Lol. It's hard to remember what my first models were like, but I know that they had to have been crap compared to this...and I use TrueSpace. Hahah!
I do agree that the metallic materials could be better, but still...Dang! If these are really your first models ever, I have no doubt that you could do this professionally one day no problem.
I'm working on a Mega Man myself right now, but I'm putting a lot of detail into it, so it will take a while. Looks like I have tough competition. Good thing modeling isn't my number-one hobby. Heh heh.
