I know we already debated this a lot of times, but there´s something i want to ask.
I was watching my brother playing Kingdom Hearts, and i noticed there´s a lot of cameos and references to Final Fantasy characters (obvious isn´t) for example, there are Gummi Ships with names and appearance of other characters and weapons, i looked today at the images of beta MML3 and saw Bass and Megaman on them (also inspired on MMLStation comment about Bass looking like a Miitan), so my question is: what about if MML3 had this kind of cameos? for example: a Bass-looking reaverbot, a kid wearing something similar to MM´s armor, why not a simple dog named Rush or Treble (Gospel sound better for me thought.) and such, do you think this will "ruin" the game, or they will be funny cameos?

See, this sort of thing has been constantly posted about in the DevRoom and has been ticking a lot of people here off, which I can understand.
However, I will say that some cameos are more accepting than others. People in the DevRoom want blatant appearances, like Bass or Zero becoming an important character or hardly ever having a change in their appearance and roles. Of course, such cameos wouldn't work.
Legends 1 however had a Legends counterpart of Wily, who looked, acted and had a different role, plus there were also components named X Buster and Zetsabre. Legends 2 had posters and comic books that had Black Zero, Kalinka and Ice Man has cameos. See, those kind of cameos I think are more 'acceptable' in the Legends series than what those in the DevRoom want.

Actually, the Devroom population's almost completely against large cameos from other characters, with the exception of Kikiaoh or however you spell it, and part of me thinks he's just playing the Devil's Advocate to prove that it's possible for these guys to take in large roles without disrupting the plot, not to actively advocate it. The ones who actively demand blatant appearances usually don't have arguments that hold any water, and tend not to stick around for too long. I'm pretty sure we're getting little comic-book-variety cameos of those characters and characters from other franchises altogether whether we like it or not. It's just something Capcom does.

I don't think the posters and comic book cameos were that bad really, I actually found it kinda cute.

The smaller comic book cameos aren't as noticable so as far as I'm concerned its fine, but when they start adding people like Bass and Zero in there for no apparent reason it just spoils everything and turns the game in to a publicity stunt.

Actually, having a normal looking dog named Rush in MML3 doesn't sound that bad. Maybe a store called Bass Stereo, or Zero Gravity Shoe Store. I just don't want the actual characters in the game, or if they are completely different people they don't need to be of any significance what so ever.

The "Mega Man" cartoon shown in the second game makes a second appearance, with the Ruby Spears Mega Man theme playing in loop when selected.

Proof or it didn't happen. But unless it's the year 2021 (again), of course it didn't even happen yet.

Yeah I wouldn't mind a comic book or poster cameo. Maybe the TVs in MML3 could pick up some more programming. ;D
