By the way, I was looking at the comments on the Japanese Devroom and it looks like the first one to comment on a specific NA mech commented on ours!

Yep, hopefully it'll be up soon...-ish. Raijin: So we have at least a fan in Japan? XD I'm glad someone over there likes it. hirovoid: Don't worry about it too much; whatever happens we'll face it and be all good sportsmanship-like about it, right? : )

If we lose, I'm going to go around Capcom Unity spamming threads and posts about how crappy the whole collaboration system is, and when I get banned, I'll start up another account to do the same thing! ...Uh...Okay. Sarcasm's over. Yeah. Even if we lose, it was awesome to be able to get this far. It was also really awesome to work with all of you'll. I also had fun seeing at least one of the pictures made on paintchat since I can't draw anything myself, so it's interesting to see someone else do a really good job.

As for what to watch in the Japanese Devroom, I'm switching between the Mecha thread and Kinako's blog. I'm sure they'll identify the winner with a picture so we won't have to worry about translating. Might be good to keep an eye on the blog post list in the sidebar too.

This is so exciting! Is Kinako going to post a winner soon, or like, tomorrow morning? Her blog post was a bit vague on that.
I really hope you guys win... It'll be like... I don't know...

Well we didn't make it guys, but it was still phun. The winner is Donner Wels! EDIT: Oh man, we were the runner up though! That feels good! EDIT-EDIT: Oh man, looks like a major selling point was the electricity, too. I bet we'd have clinched it if no one else had thought of that! Head to Capcom Unity for the news

Donner Wels is actually one of the entries that I preferred the least, but, oh well.
It's sad but, at the same time, you guys made runner up! Imagine, you were being discussed by the developpers of MML and you're entry was 'missed by just a hair'!! Congrats, everybody, I'm so proud of all of you.
And I was so looking forward to climbing those spiral staircases...

Well, like I said, CapKobun certainly earned the right. Really awesome that we got the honorable mention though.

Darn it! And I was about to post the link too. (Pitch, you hell of a ninja.) But dang, missed only by a hair? That's awesome!

The posts went up in both Devrooms at the same time, but oddly enough, the Japanese Devroom has a blank page where their announcement should be. I think this time they're the ones with technical problems.

Y'know, I had a feeling Donner Wells was gonna be a top contender- the whole 'protect the Refractor' thing was a very Legends touch to add. Congratulations, CapKobun! And it's awesome to hear that we got the Honorable Mention! I can't believe they really liked it enough to give us an honorable mention! It's too amazing for words. Makes me wonder if at least an element from it'll be utilized...
