A fellow named Daniel from the Devroom posted a link to a pretty addicting Flash minigame he made, so I got permission from him to bring it over here. You can play it in-browser. I actually got an S-Rank and definitely prefer punting to petting. (SEE? SEE? IT'S POSSIBLE TO FINISH A LEGENDS FANGAME AND NOT BE fAB. ) {Adding to Fangame directory}

Wow. That definitely CAN get addicting. Apparently when you punt that certain someone you get SMASHED. How appropriately violent. I like it. Give Daniel my regards. Got an S rank on my second try

I've gotten up to 110 points on this baby—that netted me a sizable Legends ranking, alongside my Goody 2 Shoes alignment.

That's right, Rock. Just let it all out. Kick everything, everywhere, everytime.

I actually got 97 points and a C-Class ranking while going for the goodie-two-shoes approach. I think there's more hazards if you punt everything than if you pet everything.

I'm HIJACKING this thread! (Not really : ( ) buymml3pv.wordpress.com/2011/05/18/updates-on-everything/I made a minor update to the game, basically just adding keyboard control support. More importantly though, I've started working on a second game, which will hopefully provide a little more replay value than can kicking shenanigans. I'm mostly making this post because I'm looking for fan-made Reaverbot designs; if anyone is willing to show off their work, I might include it in the game as an enemy/boss (and of course, give credit!). Thanks for playing, and for all the nice comments too!

The keyboard controls actually don't work in the flash window at all when I tried to play the game. You sure you updated the flash file and link too?

You'll have to make sure you update your options, Dashe. I think it actually disables the clicking when you have it switch to keyboard controls, oddly enough. Then again, I'm running it in XP, so that could have something to do with it.

What do you mean 'update my options?'
EDIT: OHHHHHHH. Never mind. Found it.

Aw, darnit! I was prepared to literally show people how to do it! I guess I can understand how it can be missed, they see Tron frowning and the servbot, and automatically want to kick the fudge out of him. Perhaps those links will be beneficial in some hilariously awkward way in the future.

Ahh, much better with the keyboard controls. Managed to get the Legend rank a couple times now (100 as Good, 103 as Evil). Anything higher than that? I started to inject a little gambling into my strategy by rapidly tapping the key and hoping whatever comes out doesn't give me a strike, usually when there's less than a second on the clock and I have no strikes already. Theoretically, that strategy could net a score somewhere in the thousands, but you'd have to be reeeally lucky.

Theoretically, that strategy could net a score somewhere in the thousands, but you'd have to be reeeally lucky. Yep, Legends is the highest. And I agree about the tapping; you'd have to be SUPER lucky, but you basically stop the clock doing that. That's why I made the Letter-Ranks give you extra points, so people couldn't get 2 misses then stop mashing without a penalty. I think I might have to do one last update on it, adding an extra delay between targets. Right now, you can click/tap so fast that the next thing does not even properly load; it plays the right sounds, but the wrong graphics at first. If I do that, it'll also assure that time is always dropping, making infinite choices impossible. And since you and General Specific already got Legend rank...might add an extra FINAL rank, for impossibility sake : || P.S., thanks for being ready to help out, Mikey!

Final better be at least 120 points total. I've been planning on banging out some caffeine for the sake of heighting my instincts and getting up to that score.
